Our research group mainly focuses on the Smart Electric Energy and aims for a more energy-saving and carbon-neutral world. We are exploring brand-new theoretical models, circuit topologies, control methods, and systems to serve with more intelligent and efficient power generation, transmission, and conversion. We are continuously contributing to:
  • Switched Power Converters
    High-frequency DC/DC and DC/AC converter
    Bidirectional grid-connected converter
Wide-bandgap semiconductor based converter (SiC and GaN)
    High-power multi-level converter

  • Electrified Transportation
Electric vehicle; Electric ship; Electric Aircraft
    Advanced motor drive
    On-board charging and wireless charging
Intelligent control and accurate sensing system

  • Wireless Power Transfer
Development of the novel coil structure
Design and analysis of the novel compensation topologies
Omnidirectional and dynamic wireless power transfer
