	Warmly welcome Prof. Lionel Ni, the President of HKUST(GZ), to visit our laboratory in January 2024! Prof. Lionel M. Ni currently assumed the role of the President of HKUST(GZ). Prof. Ni first joined HKUST in July 2002 and served in various capacities including Chair Professor and Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dean of HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School, and Special Assistant to the President. In January 2015, he became the Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) and Chair Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Macau. He rejoined HKUST as Provost and Chair Professor of Computer Science and Engineering in May 2019.)

	HKUST(GZ) INNOTECH 创科嘉年华暨周年庆典 on Jun. 16th, 2023 Group members participated in the HKUST(GZ) INNOTECH Exhibition to demonstrate our experimental prototypes of the wireless power transmission system and the solar-plus-storage power conversion system.
	Happy Gathering with Academician C.C. Chan (陈清泉院士) on Oct. 18th, 2022 Prof. Chan was was elected to Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Fellow of the prestige Royal Academy of Engineering U.K., the first Academician of the prestige Chinese Academy of Engineering in Hong Kong, and Fellow of the Ukraine Academy of Engineering Sciences.

	Dr. Wei HAN was appointed as the Guest Editor of World Electric Vehicle Journal (WEVJ) November 2021 WEVJ Special Issue on "Distributed State-of-The-Art Wireless Power Transfer for Electric Vehicles". Deadline for manuscript submission: 10 June 2022.
	Dr. Wei HAN was appointed as the Guest Editor of Energies September 2021 Energies Special Issue on "Distributed Wireless Sensors and Power Transfer". Deadline for manuscript submission: 15 February 2022.
	Dr. Wei HAN joined in SEE Thrust, Function Hub, HKUST(GZ) as an Assistant Professor October 2021 New career started from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology(GZ) since left University of Toronto. The HKUST(GZ) indeed is the realization of this ambition to transform education for the future, with its cross-disciplinary academic structure designed to complement the well-established disciplinary foundation at the Clear Water Bay campus.
