Dr. Wei HAN is an Assistant Professor in the Sustainable Energy and Environment Thrust, Function Hub at HKUST (GZ). He is also the affilicated Assistant Professor in Electronic and Computer Engineering Department, HKUST(CWB).He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Toronto in Prof. Peter W. Lehn’s group from 2020 to 2021. He received his Ph.D. and M.Eng. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2020 and 2015, respectively, supervised by Prof. K.T. Chau and Prof. C.C. Chan. In Jan 2020, he was a Visiting Researcher at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received his B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Northeastern University in 2014. His research interests include power electronics, wireless power transfer techniques, electric machines and drives, and electric vehicle (EV) technologies. Dr. Han is an IEEE member and the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientist. He currently acts as the Associate Editor of Scientific Reports, Session Chair of ICIT2022 and IECON 2023 etc., the Guest Editor of Energies, World Electric Vehicle Journal and Applied Sciences.
